Las Conchas climbing area has a river/stream running next to the rocks. It’s a stunning mountain environment that offers a large variety of climbs and difficulties both in roped climbing and bouldering. The hiking approach is next to nothing with some walls only 50ft away from the car. It’s volcanic rhyolite at 8,400″ elevation and absolutely beautiful! The prime season for this area is May – September.
